Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA)

AHAs occur in a variety of foods - milk, apples, sugar cane and mangoes for example - and have been used by women for centuries to help them achieve a smooth complexion.

We now know that AHAs dissolve the ‘glue' which binds dead skin cells together, allowing the old skin to be sloughed away to reveal the new cells underneath.
